Product Repair/Inspection Associate
Sideshow is looking for a self-motivated Product Repair/Inspection Associate. In this role, you will perform all tasks and functions according to their proper methods, such as closing RMA’s inspecting, organizing, and repairing product.
Essential Functions:
Pull product from multiple Sideshow building locations
Open and inspect multiple product SKU’S
Receive and organize new/old product parts from multiple vendors
Dispose of items hat are no longer needed
Use Forklifts and Order Picker to retrieve product from multiple bay height locations
Work closely with the Customer Support department to assist with insight on product related questions. Close and edit RMA’S. Give feedback on various customers returns.
Answer daily emails/slack
Repair/salvage damaged product with paint, parts, putty, etc
Work on various projects as they become available
Carefully box up product after various conventions/shows
Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skill, Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Use of MAS / Word / Excel
Two years warehouse experience (preferred but not required)
Attention to detail and well organized
Use basic tools including but not limited to: drills, screwdrivers, hammers, Dremel, plyers.
The ability to multitask and take on multiple projects at once
Physical Requirements
Typical Working Conditions: Exposure to elements including but not limited to heat, cold, dust, wind, dirt, and paint fumes (from products that are received from vendors).
Equipment Used: To include but not limited to: Box cutters, hand-held tape guns, automatic carton tape dispenser, rolling ladder, manual pallet jack, portable roller track, automatic packing-paper dispenser, powered package conveyor system, label scanner, cardboard compactor, order picker & forklift (when certified).
Essential Physical Tasks: To include but not limited to: Heavy lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, ladder climbing, pulling, and pushing pallet jacks, folding and taping boxes, palletizing shipping cartons, wrapping pallets with stretch wrap.
